Nevada Marijuana Dispensary Training Classes Hosted by HempStaff in Las Vegas on Mar. 11th

HempStaff, a medical marijuana staffing and training agency, is hosting Medical Marijuana Dispensary Agent Training Classes in Las Vegas on March 11th, 2017.  There are two sessions to choose from 8:00am-12:00pm or 1:30pm-5:30pm. The event will be held at the Embassy Suites Las Vegas at 4315 Swenson Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. The cost is $249 with prior online registration or $300 cash at the door, if seats are still available.

Dispensary Agents will be needed to keep up with the pace of new recreational dispensaries that will be coming on board within the next year. Additionally, the medical marijuana dispensaries that are currently open will soon be allowed to sell to recreational customers as well, which will also increase the demand for trained Dispensary Agents.

The sale of recreational marijuana was approved by voters in November of 2016. The state of Nevada is currently working out regulations and an application process for those recreational shops but in the interim, will provide a “grandfather application” for those medicinal shops that wish to sell recreationally sooner rather than later. These “approved” shops will be able to start selling to recreational customers starting this summer, right now it is scheduled for July 1st. Regardless if you wish to work in a recreational shop or a medicinal shop, you need to understand how this medication works because more often than not, the general public is “self-medicating” for one reason or another and your knowledge could make the difference in them choosing the “right” product to alleviate their symptoms.

HempStaff’s four-hour course is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and tools they need to successfully work in the Marijuana Industry. The course offers participants training on cannabis and cannabis products along with the laws and regulations as they apply to dispensaries in Nevada. The training covers over a dozen cannabinoids and terpenes, and covers dozens of cannabis products and how they can help medical ailments. As part of our class, HempStaff offers our students a resume template and resume review to help get their resume noticed when they apply and best prepare them for their first interview.

At the end of the course, students must take a certification exam, and score at least 75% to get a HempStaff Dispensary Agent Certificate. Since HempStaff is also a recruiting agency, when employers seek to fill entry level dispensary agents or cultivation site workers, students who have successfully completed our course, are contacted first.

HempStaff has trained and certified more than 1,950 dispensary agents nationwide and holds classes bi-weekly across the United States. In addition to the class held in Nevada, classes are currently scheduled for Maryland, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Florida and New England. Future 2017 classes are slated for Michigan and Arkansas. Those who have already taken the HempStaff course have provided exceptional feedback about the training.

“I thought this medical marijuana dispensary training was well worth my time and money,” notes one recent participant. “I was satisfied and felt optimistic in the direction things are moving after seeing others talk about one of my biggest passions the past 4 years. Highly approve of approach to let those who do not pass the Budtender certification test return until they know and understand the basics needed to succeed and grow as an individual,”
