Canna Care Docs announces their second Maryland evaluation center, slated to open early June 2017. The address of the new location is 10151 York Rd., Suite 118, Cockeysville, MD.
Maryland’s medical cannabis program is expected to be fully operational by early fall 2017, with the last hurdle recently being cleared after the first grower in the state was granted permission to begin their first grow cycle. The program will allow access to medical marijuana for patients who are state residents and under a physician’s care for a condition that could benefit from medical cannabis use. There is also a provision in the law to allow for out of state patients meeting certain criteria.
This new center will mark the opening of the 20th location for Canna Care Docs. Founded in 2012, Canna Care Docs has become the premiere provider of medical cannabis certifications on the East Coast and employs more than 100 people. Headquartered in Seekonk, Massachusetts, they currently serve patients in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Delaware, Maryland, and Washington D.C.
Canna Care Docs is proud of their compassionate and informative approach to medical cannabis. Each patient is offered a thorough consultation and evaluation that includes educational materials and a follow up visit in the evaluation fee. CCD’s medical and support professionals are knowledgeable, approachable, and committed to increasing the quality of life in their patients.
Canna Care Docs is also very proud of its commitment to United States’ Veterans. Veterans are given a 10% discount on services with appropriate documentation, and events are held periodically offering free recommendations. To date, over $300,000 companywide in free certifications have been donated.
