Bob Marley’s Daughter Announces Cannabis Cookbook

Many of Bob Marley’s children have followed in his footsteps, especially when it comes to celebrating their love for cannabis. While some of the Marley children have embarked on successful musical careers, one of Marley’s daughters, Cedella Marley, will be launching a cannabis cookbook.

The 240-page book, entitled Cooking With Herb, is authored by Cedella and Raquel Pelzel, and will be published by Pam Krauss/Avery which is the non-fiction arm of the Penguin Publishing Group.

“Fulljoy my new cookbook Cooking with Herb-75 Recipes for the Marley Natural Lifestyle,” tweeted the eldest daughter of reggae singers Bob and Rita Marley. The book will feature 75 cannabis-infused and Caribbean-inspired recipes. The book also decodes the task of calculating proper doses of cannabinoids to dishes and shares advice on utilizing cannabis as a beauty scrub, hair treatment and for yoga meditation.

The book is slated for release on July 25. The book will be widely distributed and utilize Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Hudson Booksellers, IndieBound, Powell’s, Target and Walmart. According to a description of the book, it will instruct both “first-time users and marijuana devotees.”

In the past, Cedella released a children’s book entitled “One Love” which featured Bob Marley songs for children. She’s also the mother of Skip Marley, who is the latest Marley family member to hit the Billboard charts. Her half-brother Damian Marley plans on converting a prison in Coalinga, California into a cannabis farm and has opened a dispensary in Colorado and launched the cannabis line Stony Hill. Both Damian and Cedella have been promoting Marley Natural cannabis products. Nearly all other Marley siblings have followed their father and recorded reggae music or have become involved with cannabis ventures.
